I was admitted for an elective knee replacement on July 1st to the Alexandra hospital in Redditch. On my arrival I was pleasantly greeted by one of the nursing staff and welcomed me to the ward. I was shown to my bed in the 6 bedded unit and the patients that were already there introduced themselves as did I. A couple of weeks ago my wife was referred to SDEC,i have got to say from the moment we got there the service was brilliant, all of the staff were so good knew exactly what they had to do, ie taking all the relevant checks and samples for testing,making us welcome, looking after us with food and drinks and keeping us updated the best they could. Unfortunately as time ran out my wife had to be admitted overnight but was discharged the next day, when we returned a couple of days later to see a consultant, who by the way was re... read more
After quite a nasty accident today went to accident and emergency all I can say fantastic service from all staff nurses and doctors all involved. Keep you're private medicine you can't beat the NHS truly fantastic dedicated people. Many thanks
