Worcester Home Care was amazing for the palliative care of my father. We were able to organize care before leaving the hospital to head home. Everything was set up for us the next day. The staff became family to us and my dad was so appreciative of having them there and the care they provided. Us too. Worked with Worcester Home Care and owner Rick Stein when my mom was ill and on hospice. Rick was unbelievably accessible and supportive. He afforded me the care my mother deserved. His staff is absolutely irreplaceable. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this organization and I’d use them time and time again. Not to mention, I am a medicine professional.
Rick Stein is a shining star. He helped us with my mom’s end of life care with his kindness, compassion, professionalism and expertise, in large part due to his own experience with end of life care of his beloved grandmother. He truly treated us like we were his own family. He listened to our needs and provided us with the perfect person for night time coverage for mom to make sure that she was safe and her needs were met and therefore we could sleep. We had the pleasure of working with Rick Stein and his Worcester Home Care team from March 2019 through July 2023. They provided daily assistance, i.e. bathing, laundry, mobility assistance, for both of my parents for 6 months leading up to my father’s decline.
