Shocking how bad this practice is run, it’s almost impossible to book an appointment and the new Anima system it’s making everything worse !
I don’t even know where to start this place is so incredibly bad Around three years ago I went to the GP (eventually) and said I needed a referral to a Hemochromatosis specialist (moved to the area and needed to be transferred) I was told there wasn’t one in Northampton I also asked for a coil replacement (been in for its five years) also told yeah we don’t do that here and no idea where you would get that done. Rude staff that don’t pick up the phone (busy chatting and ignoring it our of pure laziness - watch them next time you’re in the waiting room) and as for an appointment, good luck getting one! You will end up being told by anima to travel 35/40 mins for the nearest walk in centre whilst you’re unwell! Everything is ran off anima and honestly it’s shocking…I feel for any elderly or SEN people that can’t access this online service because they won’t pick up the phone for you either! Overall, shocking surgery.
The practice manager - Lisa Marotta displayed absolutely disgusting behaviour in the medical centre today. Not wanting to help your patients is one thing but to put your patients in more distress is just unacceptable. After pleading for a face to face appointment with a doctor and being refused, Lisa Marotta then threatened to call the police to remove us.
