Popped in to get a paper this morning. No staff on the desk. One person operating the self-checkouts. I went and got my bread at Baker's Delight and then went to Coles for the newspaper. Arrogant approach to customers. Recommend doing all shopping elsewhere. I didn't even want to give a rating, but you can't submit a review without one. Take it as ZERO stars. Time to clean out management and covertly review the staff approach to customers.
I was disappointed in the service as usual. I purchased the paper this morning and was the only one in the queue for the express lane—no staff member at the tills. Two gentlemen went to the cigarettes counter and when the staff member arrived, she went to serve both of these gentlemen. This is not an unfamiliar occurrence at this store. Suggestion - use the cigarette counter for returns only and make cigarette purchasers enter the store and join the express queue. Problem solved.
