They made a sneaky switch to Metro now what little grocery options they have left on offer are overpriced. Live less than 2mins away & not gonna shop there anymore. Best service highly recommended to everyone.
There’s an older Asian lady with short hair who works at the self-serve checkout and consistently makes it extremely unpleasant for me and others I know to shop here. She has repeatedly stopped me after I’ve already paid, asking if I’ve paid for everything, going back to the checkout to check, and even rummaging through my shopping bags. It’s happened multiple times, and I now avoid shopping here entirely — as do several people I know in the neighbourhood who’ve had similar experiences. Usually my experience here is fine, however everytime the older asian woman is on self-serve she asks in a rude manner to see in my bag, I let her and continue telling her I buy from here and the Metro woolies very nearby at Sydney Park as the products are different (Metro range versus Supermarket range) and I live near both locations. I had a great experience at Woolworths Alexandria thanks to Pavithra. I was having trouble finding a few items, and even though she was busy with her work, she took the time to guide me and make sure I got everything I needed.
