This is for the condescending staff at self checkout, recently saw a staff member be very condescending to an elderly customer, treating them as though they were stupid. Please don’t do this, the elderly aren’t there to be talked down to as though they are toddlers, they are adults and not there to be treated with sarcasm, as if they cannot use the checkout and in a condescending way. Do better.
No wonder they lost to Coles. Long wait at the check out counter only 1 poor staff managing the check out no 1 multi tasking in handling service desk at the same time, but self-serve checkout has more than 5 in a busy morning. Earning so much per year but very lacking in customer service. Go shop at Coles. Heaps of check out counter - manual or self serve far more efficient.
On 11/9/2025 about 8:10pm we visited Woolworths Doncaster Westfield wanted to purchase some groceries. One of the items we wished to buy is 'So Good Unsweetened Almond Milk 1L' which price at $1.45. But there isn't any stock left on the shelf. So I were directed to wait for the service person to attend to us at the rain check counter. We waited almost 30 minutes.
