Had almost everything I expected from my usual Woolies, albeit in different places; but I got the last two packets of some stock and I had to move an empty box off the shelf to find another. First staff I asked for directions didn’t know where tofu was or what tempeh is but at least the second knew where tofu was.
It’s not an exaggeration to say that I must’ve shopped at over 15 different Woolworths outlets around Australia; and MacArthur square is hands down the best. It is often well stocked, offers generous discounts on close to best before items, it’s clean and well organised but most importantly, the staff are incredible.
