I always have a great experience shopping at Burwood East Brickworks Woolworths. The staff are consistently friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful. Worst Woolworths ever. I have been to a lot of other Woolworths and they have never asked to check bags. This is the first Woolworths I've been to where if you don't buy anything you aren't allowed out of the store and they need to clearly check your bags before you are allowed out.
Today (30/07/2025) I shopped at Woolworths Brickworks around 7:30 pm and was served by Mika at the registers. My partner and I were taking a bit of time sorting out a gift card, and it ended up taking longer than expected. Mika was incredibly patient, calm, and kind throughout the entire process. Not only did she help us without any sign of frustration, but she also went the extra step by suggesting we keep the receipt so we could track our remaining gift card balance for future use.
