Stopped in for dinner and drinks. Tried the Satay Chicken from the Chinese menu. Absolutely delicious. Staff at the bar and restaurant were very helpful and friendly. The bar also served their own canned Woolpack Hotel Pale Ale. Was very delicious and recommend to anyone who likes a Pale Ales.
Quite a bit of a wait for food from the Chinese section of the restaurant but the food made up for it! All dishes including satay chicken, fried rice, sizzling beef and the dim sim were delicious.

Delicious food and very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are traditional pub-style, and the location is excellent.
Recommended as location, staff, food & pub were great. Only issue is both Men & Ladies bathrooms have 1 shower & 2 toilets & if someone wants to lock the main door if taking a shower then you can't use the toilets, so a big issue in the mornings especially. Simple fix have separate area for shower & could easily fit at least 2 showers in that area with better design as a big area with kitchen & both sets of bathrooms.
