I wasn’t aware of their online ordering system and walked up and asked an employee for a coke. Instead of turning me away, the staff followed me to my table and gave me a bottle of coke on the house! Their personal pizzas are incredible too!
Woody’s tavern is a classic among OSU students but does not have accessibility features for it to be enjoyed by everyone. Mainly, the floorspace of the establishment is very crowded making it difficult for individuals who use mobility equipment or individuals with visual impairments to navigate the space. In addition, after Covid there is no in-person ordering. This means that if you cannot visualize the menu at the kiosks or navigate inaccessible ordering apps, you cannot order to begin with.
The service is almost always frustrating. I do not have a “gluten allergy,” but I still cannot have any cross contamination. A few months ago, I put in my online order that the food must be “gluten free,” but when I went to pick up my food they had not even started the order. The employee said they did not start it because they did not know if it was for an allergy.
