Spencer and team installed a new meter socket and riser along with an emergency disconnect to bring our service up to standard after we had rainwater coming through the old panel. They also did water line bonding, and security light+camera install. While doing those jobs, Spencer noticed that the hot water heater wasn't grounded, so he fixed that as well. I can't say enough about how great these guys are. Too bad I can only rate 5 stars. We had a big tree branch break off of a walnut tree, in our front yard, and land on top of a power line. The force of the impact ripped the meter from the side of our house, shattered the front of the meter, and damaged cables leading into the house. When we found ourselves needing an electrician we had a hard time finding one available that wasnt booked out 2-3 weeks. When I called Woodys he said he was booked out for a couple of weeks but then asked what we were needing. After explaining our situation he immediately squeezed us in for an estimate and ultimately was able to get the project started rather quickly. Professional in every way: knowledgable, efficient, personable, left the house without a trace of trash. Just everything that I would want in an electrician.
Woody’s installed an interlock kit so I could power my whole house with a gas generator. Their quote was very reasonable compared to two of the big names in the Kalamazoo area. Plus, Spencer did not charge me for a quote. They arrived on time, communicated throughout the process, cleaned up after themselves and showed me how the system works. Very professional! I would use them again and highly recommend them!
