Really disappointing experience! The site they assigned to us was in an alleyway and not a standard camping site. We had to request (literally beg) for a new site immediately upon arrival and the lady in the office said "I don't blame you", admitting that the spot was not suitable but was assigned to us anyway without any discount. The 2nd site was better but all the hook ups all located at the main road and not accessible without the back end of our camper blocking the road. Thanks Again for another wonderful stay. Look forward to seeing you again. 37 ft. fifth wheel easy in and out. Some sites take extra effort with leveling but worth it.
this is the nicest campground i have ever stayed in. the wine bar with live music was just the cherry on top. the facilities were nice and upkept with single private options for bathroom AND shower which i have never seen before in a campground. we were the perfect distance from the grand canyon, bearizona, and sedona. we WILL be back and staying in the remote over landing sites which i also have never seen at a campground. i wish i could give more than 5 stars!!
Such a cozy place! Love the atmosphere and vibe. And they have live music in the lounge area outside which adds to the fun 😁 My bandmates and I had the privilege of playing there a couple weeks ago and we had a blast! Thank you Heather and hubby for being so gracious and welcoming to Kanyon Thunder, we loved it! Whether you're a local or just passing through, stop in for coffee, wine tasting, games, etc...it's a great place 👍
