About this business
Located just outside Aspen, Colorado, Woody Creek Distillers is the first and only craft distillery in the United States to control every element of our vodka production. We grow our potatoes at Scanlan Family Farm, truck them eight miles to our distillery and source local mountain spring water. If you're in the area, this place is a must! Everything is made on-site and they have a wide array of different aged bourbons that are unlike anything you could get elsewhere. Customer service is top notch!
Ambience was okay, but I expected more of a leathered look with leather sofas and chairs, etc. but we aren’t here for the interior design are we. We are here for that brown water. While bourbon is supposed to have a caramel, custard, vanilla, or notes of honey flavorings, Woody Creek’s bourbon fell short, or rather, fell a long way from what bourbon should be. This place is unreal! Excellent whiskey and the staff did an incredible job considering how busy they were. So glad I made time to come and visit them. Definitely the best whiskey I have had - thanks
