I’ve been going to Woodworkers for the past 25 years maybe a bit more, Norman always took care of our problems in the tooling area , that he takes longer now, of course but through the years i should understand by now that i don’t work full speed as when i was younger and to me he still takes care of business , thankyou Sir Norman!

My first set of planer and saw blades and a large router bit I took in were expertly done, at a reasonable price, but it was at least a two week wait despite him seeming to have no other business. A saw blade I took in a month ago is still there, with no explanation on why it can't get done. A shame, because there aren't any other guys... read more

Woodworkers Service and Supply has been here and serving craftsmen since I came to San Antonio forty years ago. They're a little obscure to find, but the service is excellent. They will custom sharpen (and remake) almost any kind of woodworking blade. I've had them make wide-set blades for wet wood, zero hook blades for stubborn plastics. They are not cheap - if you want a cheap blade, go to Home Depot. If you want a blade (or other tools!) worthy of a craftsman, they are the place to go. I highly recommend them.
