From initial contact to product design and operation, Woodstock Soapstone has delivered! My Real Steel Hybrid is a masterpiece. I am blown away. When you call them, you get a real person every time. They are responsive and competent. They take genuine pride in their products, which are custom-made to order and one-of-a-kind! I cannot recommend them stenously enough if you're looking for a high-performing piece of art for your home.
the stove itself gets 5 stars - company 3 --- I have owned a palladian for 35 + years. was living on a shoestring at the time in a broken down drafty mobile home - picked it up in my rustoleum painted van driving the 350 miles one way - company was great - fell in love wit the stove and the company - they were doing great things. RecommendedRefurbishing a Woodstock Soapstone Fireview 205 Stove Here in Central Missouri, quite a distance from West Lebanon, N.H. I was fortunate to locate a very abused Fireview 205 Stove. The owner had had the stove sitting in his yard outside for quite a time for sale and it was in very rusted condition. When I got it home, the local Chimney contractor took one look at this stove, in its abused condition, and really saw no hope in getting this stove in shape. We shopped around for a long time to find the right woodstove that would fit our house. Our friend reccomend we drive up and check out Woodstock Soapstone. We are so glad we did, we found not only our dream stove but we saved allot of money in the process.
We installed the Progress Hybrid this fall and it has cut our wood consumption by 1/3 it is a very well built stove we could not be more pleased with our purchase.
