They need to rename this. There is absolutely nothing green anymore. It’s a dust bowl or mud pit, depending on the weather. With all the $ being poured into DTW, how hard would it be to turf this area? I bet you could get a local turf company to do it for a discount for the free advertisement!
Great place to see a concert. The surroundings are beautiful and the atmosphere is laid back, fun, and relaxing.
This has so much potential. The “grass” has been dirt for months with no sign of improvement. The space is used for multiple events ranging from Cornhole to galas yet it is dirt or mud after Georgia rains. I am one of many that have this opinion. I’d urge the city and the arts center to collaborate to make this a place that is worthy of its potential. I’ll amend my review once completed. Thank you.
