There is a musty, chemical smell in the halls. I suspect the carpeting. It would be best to replace it with tile or another material that doesn't hold smells. The room was clean. There is a refrigerator, 2 burner electric stove and microwave (the clerk advised me at check-in there might be cooking smells as there were long term tenants) which are a welcome convenience. I cost me $70.00 for the night with everything included. The room was spotless. The room had everything I needed The bed was firm and I fell asleep instantly. I never woke up so I would say it was quiet. Great deal.
Do not get a room by the service/storage rooms by the elevator. I have been waken up 2 days in a row from the employees slamming the door over and over again and hearing banging all morning from that room. Mind you this at 7 ish in the morning and I have 2 babies sleeping. I also didn’t realize when linen exchange is needed you have to take the dirty sheets down yourself and have to pay for an exchange. After booking the rooms expecting double beds as per the reservation. Came to find out that double doesn’t mean double beds like any other hotel. With as many non smoking signs there are- hotel reaks of cigarette and weed. I honestly walked in and felt I may have gotten to the wrong place bc I felt like this is what an hourly motel would feel like. I was disgusted walking in the hallway and walked into my room.
