Woodsman Axe was recently at an event I attended at camp Winnebago and it was the absolute highlight of the whole four day event! From the trailer setup to the axe’s to the man/owner running Woodsman Axe Throwing, it was so a blast! He gave us instruction and let us have fun. If you ever get lucky enough to participate with Woodsman Axe, do it. You won’t regret it!
It was very easy to book online and had no issues. We were able to bring in our own drinks, which was helpful. You get hot throwing, so t-shirts are best to wear :) The gentleman who helped us was very nice and had a lot of knowledge of how to properly throw the axe-gave you different ways of doing it. It was very fun! An hour was well worth it! We were pretty tired after it. We will definitely be doing it again!
Our crew of six got a great deal on Groupon for an hour of throwing. We had a blast! The staff was friendly, the tunes were great (classic rock) and we got to bring our own refreshments in. Definitely a wonderful way to relax and have fun.
Micah was super helpful to our family group of 10! Highly recommend for groups of any age or experience level! We will be back!
Very cool place! Easy going staff, show you a few tips and tricks and your free to play. 8 people was a good size group. Knifes and throwing stars as well! Highly recommended!
