I always find that the staff on reception are very friendly and welcoming. My appointment was on time and the GP took the time to listen to my concerns and gave a very clear treatment plan. I much prefer the online triage platform instead of having to sit on the phone. The premises are always clean and I always find that if I have a problem, the staff always find a way to solve my issue. Thank you for everything you do for me and my family.
Unfortunately, it feels like the service at Woodseats Medical Centre is getting worse. I submitted a request for a repeat prescription today and heard nothing back. I waited around expecting some kind of confirmation or phone call, but by 2pm I had to call the practice myself to find out what was going on. After ringing for about 10 minutes with no hold music or queue system, someone finally answered and told me the medication had already been prescribed and sent to the chemist. Absolutely fed up with this place. This is the second time in a month I've been unable to get an appointment. They just send you to the walk in on Broad Lane. This is apparently what they're doing now, for 'minor ' problems. I wonder what constitutes a more serious issue. Mine is a severe sore throat which I've had for a month - if you look that up, one of the things it could be is cancer...I feel absolutely shocking with it, but no. Instead of an easy trip to my OWN GP I've got to take a trip into the middle of the city now... read more
