We placed our father at Woodridge, and it was the worst experience ever. During his 6 days there, he ended up in the emergency room twice from falls due to the overmedication they gave him. My cousin visited our dad, and called crying and said, "What have they done to him. That is not my uncle." Our dad spent six weeks in the hospital after his short time at Woodridge. Terrible ! Do not let your family member stay here. They will let your loved one fall, lock themselves in the bathroom and stay over night in there alone. They do not care about their patients only the money they can get. The staff is rude and they prefer you wouldn’t come to see your loved one because they don’t want to do any extra work to get them clean etc. It is so sad to see the way the patients get treated here especially in the memory care unit. Stay away from this one !
