Great place to meet people who are serious of recovery. Friendly nurses and staff. Wonderful grounds to take a walk and relax. Big gym to play basketball, ping pong, volleyball, weight room, golf simulator, and a pooltable. Comfortable cabins to sleep and tvs to watch movies a wonderful place.
This place offers genuine support but is somewhat reliant on what you are willing to make of it. I'm very grateful for this experience and was able to somewhat enjoy the process of getting better. I want to highlight that Liz deserves all the praises in the world and that the entire staff was incredibly supportive of me and threw me a college graduation party which meant the world to me.
I have to give a review so other people can be prepared. This place literally flew me out from Florida. Paid for a plane ticket and brought me to the middle of nowhere,they said I had a full scholarship. A full ride of 90 days that's why I went. That's not what happened. They detoxed me and at 6 days told me that my insurance wasn't covered and they could drop me off a bus station or back to an airport that's close but I was responsible to find my own way home. It was very inviting and the staff was wonderful. I appreciate all they did for me.
What can I say about woodlands, well I can say they saved my life. It was a rocky start but believe me it was worth it. There were some hiccups but that is to come with new places. Shout out to BRANDI my therapist! Gary, Coral, Gabbi, Lisa (even when she bullied me into never forgetting my meds) Bobbie, heck the whole nursing staff!!
