Bad place to work. Very stingy on raises. Doesn’t even start you at a comparable rate! Don’t believe them. And don’t believe them when they say you’ll work in a certain area. They will move you whenever they want whether you want or not. No wonder why people don’t stay.! Especially the pay….
This place is wonderful. My aunt has been very happy here. The staff are helpful and kind. I moved an elderly relative here after a terrible experience with another facility in Mass. This has been wonderful. The one negative I have is things I buy for her often go missing. I have been there a few times when another dementia patient came in her room and took something. I have nothing but good things to say about the Memory Care part of Waterville Woodlands. All of the staff have always been very good with my mom. The only downside is they are frequently understaffed and the place could use an update cosmetically but that has nothing to do with the care they give. The staff that do work there are truly amazing given all they put up with. Working day in and day out with people with various stages of dementia is challenging to say the least!
