My experience having a family member on this ward (2) was deeply disappointing. Staff demonstrated little compassion, and communication was consistently poor. At times there was a clear sense of neglect, and I was genuinely concerned about their competence, which undermined any trust in the care being provided. Overall, the experience was unsettling and fell far below the standard one should expect from a hospital especially a palliative care ward.
My partner has been in Woodlands View ward 3 for 3 months. The level of care has been diabolical. I fear every day for his safety. Now he’s fighting for his life in another hospital. Simply due to lack of care. It’s an assessment ward kept being bleated at me. What does that mean exactly? Basic nursing care out the window? If you care about a family member do not put him or her in there
Was in woodlands view hospital nearly 9 months....extremely unwell....and the level of care I received throughout my stay was amazing. Nursing staff and doctors were all upbeat, happy and nothing was a problem for them...including their nerverending abundance of patience. Loved the ensuit bedrooms and massive gardens with beautiful trees, flowers and seating areas. Nice being able to go on the hospital grounds for a walk..(I've taken my dog there several times too!!!!)...having this as an option means the world to me....it's... read more
Took my daughter here for help turned her away said she was fine .,… my daughter passed away weeks after at age of 20 three weeks before her 21st birthday this let my daughter down big style my daughter begged for help and they put her out said she wouldbe ok nothing wrong with her they said …. My daughter took her own lofe …… 20 years old and no help given she was a poor wee soul who tried help from everywhere and always turned away ….
