40$ nite for tent? Ridiculous. Can get most of that at state park for 20$ notice they didn't mention the food service I didn't get....smart remarks!!!! And of course I never stayed ...I walked to front desk and asked about price.....then left!!!!
Brought a group of mature men from all over the country to ND who had never been to ND. Mid July 2025. A couple flew up with their own fishing gear. We all grew up on a nice residential lake. We chose Devil’s Lake. Rented the last boat available on the lake about one month from our visit. From Woodlands Resort. Very nice facilities. Knowledgeable and service-oriented staff. Had 4 lines in the water for 2 days and didn’t get a nibble. To add insult to that injury, somewhere on the lake we hit something submerged and damaged t... read more

Wonderful Peaceful overnight stay. Felt seen, heard, and safe. The Strands really are pillars in the environment celebrating birthdays and family reunions for over 100 yrs. Very knowledgeable, insightful, courteous, and very welcoming. And so was this visit. Staff are dedicated and precise. Even just for an evening stroll. The waters were definitely calm, considering the winds of 2025. Im grateful I blew through. It was a wonderful and treasured experience that ill carry for the rest of my life.
