Not sure where all the awesome reviews come from on this one. We did not have a quiet stay. Between the road construction and the baseball game Saturday morning blaring their music it was actually kind of annoying. Nothing nice about this place I don't understand where they got all of these good reviews from. I feel like they're kind of false advertising. An affordable stay about half a mile from the main area of town. The service was great, while room and location left a bit more to be desired. Upon arrival, we were surprised by the road construction and closures surrounding the motel, which hadn't been mentioned when I called to ask about early check-in. Made it a bit tricky to figure out how to access the place as first time visitors, but we back tracked after realizing we needed to take a 'business access' detour. I stayed two nights in a Queen Sleeper room this past weekend and it was perfect. I was there by myself but it felt like a really welcoming and safe environment with families and pets around. Check-in was easy and straightforward, and the room was clean and fully stocked with anything I needed. The motel is in a really great location - I was able to easily walk through a nice neighborhood to get to the conference I came out for at the Steamplant, and going for morning runs was really convenient.
