RecommendedI have always loved the charm of the BG mall. Do I wish more was in it? — sure. Heck, I wish I could open a location of my shop in it —but I LOVE taking my daughter to the affordable movies here, I love seeing all the unique items for sale at the stores that are there. I was very impressed with the small town friendliness of the mall but they still had big name stores!!
*who* owns this embarrassing blemish? The parking lot is a ridiculous pile of rubble. Clearly there is ZERO concern for guest safety. And there's what....maybe 5 retail stores in the entire property? Bowling Green has such great potential and Woodland Mall could host a Bath & Body Works, Yankee Candle Company, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, J.Crew, H&M, Aeropostale, Planet Smoothie, Cheryl & Co cookies, etc. and the list goes on. Wow are people serious with these low ratings? This mall is great, the owner obviously knows what they are doing. National stores are leaving all malls, and they keep rent low enough here for mom and pop stores to survive and thrive. And the decor is not a bad thing, who doesn't like being reminded of their childhood? I visit this mall every time I'm in BG and I enjoy it every time. Keep up the good work!
5 stars for the good childhood memories. 3 to 4 stars for the small theater that is still soldiering on. (It needed Renovations a decade ago but the staff seems to try their damnedest) 0 stars for the depressing experience one gets when walking through this once upon a time mall. This mall was built on the very edge of town in an industrial area. Whoever owns this mall has for all intents and purposes abandoned it. Remember going to the mall as a child and it was full, now I go there and I'm lucky to see 20 people the entire time I'm there. Wish someone would put the effort forth to remodel and restore the mall to its former greatness. (Rip Walden Books & Professor Tinkers!)
