The apartments are relatively new at time of writing, roughly five to six years old. On the scale of buildings and apartments, that's very nearly brand new. The HVAC system is effective and surprisingly quiet. The doors separating rooms are better than flimsy hollow core doors; they actually dampen out a lot of noise.
