Because I was a repeat customer, I let my guard down and didn’t check pricing when buying a fireplace insert. I discovered later that at least three other retailers had the same insert for about 40% less money. I called WD. and they actually told me that because they answer the phones, the extra cost is justified. This is a drop shipper. A drop shipper is a drop shipper these days. Be Careful shopping with these folks. They are not honest in their pricing.
Find someone else who sells Sunpak heaters. Bought the Sunpak 34, standoff distance for ceiling at 30 degrees, is 18 inches. Cord that came with my Sunpak was 15 inches. Their solution? Send me a cord and told me to rewire it myself. Then they tell me they will NOT guarantee warranty now nor let me return it. Find someone else.
I purchased two ventless gas fireplaces from this company and had problems from the very beginning. The delivery service they used refused to bring the items onto the property, insisting on leaving them on the street—even though this was for a new construction project. 1 star only because the order process was so easy. Got the money from me and could care less! BEWARE. ordered a 820.00 set of gas logs. installed and the flames can not be seen with logs installed on burners. The product pictures and description are nothing like the actual product. I requested they be swapped for a different style/product and I was denied. No partial refund, restocking fee... nothing... bad business and will forever tell my clients to not order from them. I'm out my hard earned 820.00.
Terrible customer service, prices aren't great.
