Drove down from Detroit for a family vacation and Dance Nationals at the Convention Center. Last night we went down town and my serpentine belt broke on our drive back to the hotel. Called Woodies and talked to Samantha who said they could get it diagnosed and word done today. Truck was towed and dropped off at 830am, diagnosed probably by 9am, truck fixed by noon (new belt and tensioner) with a detailed inspection report, and told me I would be fine to drive back to Detroit tomorrow. Elena, Stephen, Samantha were very professional and nice. The service team was able to fix the issue on my Jeep in one day And they had complementary shuttle service. The price was fair. If you’re looking for an alternative to dealerships, this is the place in West Ashley!
Woodie’s was a lifesaver when my mom had unexpected car issues on her way to visit Charleston. Even at closing time on a Saturday, the staff was so helpful and efficient. So thankful she pulled in to the right place at the right time, with the right mechanics to get her back on the road safely and quickly.
Edit#1: 2 months later and still no attempt to resolve the ONGOING issues they caused. They also left my engine mounts loose after replacing the starter that they broke. Recommendation: check your labor hours carefully. Ask for itemized labor per job and have them explain exactly what is being done. My initial invoice had multiple errors, which they admitted to.
