No Follow-Up After Public Promise — Disappointed by Midtown Location I previously left a 1-star review for the Midtown location of Woodie’s Auto Service due to a highly disappointing experience involving misleading pricing, lack of transparency, and unprofessional communication. The staff is very helpful and honest. The communication is very timely. I have been bringing my cars here for years and I am extremely satisfied.
OVER PRICE. A couple of weeks ago I brought my car in because of the sevice engine light came on. Diagnostic was done, was told that woul be 150, ok from that I was told both of my solenoid valves were bad, one was 133 the other was 137, then labor was 289 plu taxes, total 803.01. Did my research. It would take less than hour to change the valves, the valves was not at all hard to get to. I got 2 dealer brand valves for the price of one that I was being charged for.
