I discovered Woodie's booth at the District East Christmas Market in Frederick and joined their mailing list. I was excited to learn that Meredith offered candle-making classes at local breweries (two of my favorite things!) so I bought tickets for my sister's birthday for a class at Saints Row Brewing. My friend and I went to make a candle at Wood and Wax at the Locally Crafted store in Gaithersburg. We had a great time and it was fun to learn something new. The only thing I would change is that there was not enough room in the creator area to move around easily. When we were in lines and then trying to move around each other the space was too tight. But the instructor was fabulous and we had fun and I love my orange-Scented soy candle!
Love, love, love Wood and Wax! Not only do they have fantastic smelling products, but they also do workshops throughout the DMV area where customers can make their own candles.
This was so fun! My best friend’s husband found a workshop online and we went and it was the best way to spend a Sunday! We will definitely be doing this again.
