Don't put anyone you love here, they are horrible to there patients. My grandmother was her for a few weeks and ended up in the hospital due to lack of care thankfully I had her moved to a different senior living place. The staff lack caring and empathy for the patients at this place.
My father was sent here and wasn’t there 2 weeks before he died! Now he was telling me that he wasn’t being treated right and they weren’t on there jobs! I called several times and to No Avail they got the message or phone to him! But coincidentally they did the day after his granddaughter was murdered and he passed away a few days later and when I got there he was gone and they did Nothing but look at me and my daughter as if we were the first to find him that way!!!
I lived there for a year. The first night I was there, a lady deficated all over she herself and the floor. It was not cleaned up for two hours! I have seen abuse, death and negligence! I had to threaten the staff that I would call the police if they did not help my roommate one weekend.. I have so many horror stories to tell but I do not have the space. Do not send your family there.
My mom is here and she has gone through a lot this is a place that has changed a lot .this place has changed hands a lot workers come and go they need to think more about the helpless patents that need a lot of help . If you like this kind of work you have to put your all in it.the people is what makes woodhaven a good place so their kin fokes want have to worry so much hopefully they will do that.
Sadly looking for an assisted living facility for my uncle. The staff (Ella)showed us around and she was really helpful and loved her job and the patients there seemed to really like her as well. She took us around and answered every question I had. Committing your loved one is a hard decision so you want to get it right. The facility was clean and the patients seemed to be satisfied with their care. It's my first choice after visiting several. Whatever (Ella) is making; I'm sure it's not enough.
