Opened an account because the teller told me that the Patriot Act prohibits withdrawals in excess of $3K without opening an account. Came to the bank at 10:00 sharp, it’s 11:40am, and still waiting to cash a check from another account holders check. I would never open an account here. The account holder now resides in NM (there is no Woodforest bank in the entire state), so why is it so hard to cash a check here?
