I have built seven clock kits now and plan to make another soon. They are without a doubt worth the time! Jeff is the best and his instruction booklets are without a doubt, perfect. I find building these clocks therapeutic in these troubled times.
I like everything about these clocks, from the quality, the excellent instructions, and that it's a small business. Jeff designed these clocks and cuts the parts himself in his shop in Wisconsin. The parts fit together perfectly and the only skill you need is the ability to follow the incredibly clear assembly instructions. Service post purchase is great and you get to talk to the designer. I purchased the Tranquility clock kit as I was fascinated by the grasshopper escapement. Firstly let me say that I am in the UK, so I was slightly anxious that the kit could get damaged in transit, but the packing and shipping were excellent and the kit arrived in perfect shape. I have constructed a number of laser-cut models over the years, but the quality of this kit has exceeded everything I have experienced. Just had a wonderful experience with the owner, Jeff. I needed a retaining nut for the hand stem on my Hubert Herr cuckoo clock. Jeff did considerable research to help. It turned out I had the nut all along. He installed it and made our clock whole again. We highly recommend Jeff for your clock needs.
