We are a family business providing a unique DIY experience for our customers. We design and produce all-wood clocks, available as kits from which one can build a beautiful, unique wooden gear clock. We also offer plans for our clocks as well as clock repair services.

A friend asked me to build an Ascent clock for her. The instructions were great and easily understandable. I made a few modifications by working with Jeff at WoodenGearClocks. We added numbers to a new dial, Velcro'ed the dials so they could be switched if wanted, and had the crutch modified to use a screw and nut to attach it which allows for adjustments. I received the Tranquility Clock kit for Christmas and enjoyed building it immensely. I made a few mistakes along the way, and Jeff was freely available to help me get through the one or two slightly rough spots I encountered. Now the clock is mounted on our wall. It's both a work of art and a joy to watch as he escapement ticks away.
I've built a few of those wooden gear kits you can buy on Amazon but the clock I bought from Wooden-Gear-Clocks is on an entirely different level. The wood is sturdy and thick, has that nice wood smell too, and all the pieces were cut to perfection. The instructions were easy to follow and very well thought out. The finished clock is up on my wall and looks fantastic. It keeps time very well and should last many years. I strongly recommend buying a kit from here.
