this place was great. i’m new at woodworking- hand carving- & was bowled-over by the inventory; i probably wandered around in there for an hour an a half. so many great tools & exotic woods/lumber. courteous, friendly service…i live in santa cruz, but it was worth the drive!
Woodcraft of San Carlos is a unique wood craft supply store. I originally drove to the store for carving knives but I received an education on different types of woods, veneers, stains, paints, saws, knives, carvers, band saws, sanders and so much more. The store staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the world of wood working. The store has plenty of parking and is near highway 101 Ralston avenue exit.
The most helpful and well stocked woodworking store I’ve ever been to. So incredibly helpful. Will only be shopping here from now on. Stains, dyes, tools, accessories, exotic wood, drills, saws, and fun things! Manager and owner were there and you can tell they love what they do!
Everything a woodworker could ask for, beautiful wood, niche supplies I couldn't find elsewhere, and the real icing on the cake that completed the experience: the knowledgeable, helpful, and experienced staff. Wish I could take the entire store home with me, will definitely be coming back here.
