Recently took two classes here as a complete beginner to woodworking and power tools. Small class size is optimized for guided instruction, as is the pacing. The instructors for both classes (Bill for bowl turning, and Dominic for Woodworking 101) impart so many helpful tips and tricks beyond basic how-to. I have been here a few times for some specialty wood when I am in the Orlando area. The staff is great. However, the prices knocked off two of the stars. I can find alot of the same items elsewhere for ALOT cheaper.
I returned an item within less than 24 hr period. It was in my opinion overpriced and very cheaply made. I did take the item out of the box in my workshop. I did not however plug the item in or turn it on. Because the salesman saw some dust on the item he accused me of using the item. I do not lie and do not appreciate being called as such. I have been a customer of Woodcraft for years but this incident will change my opinion of Woodcraft and some of its employees.
Not easy to find but since they closed up our store in Jax, I had to get some specialized bands for my band saw. Personal were friendly & helpful. I will be coming back when needed.
