I stayed at Woodbury Resort for a few weeks in the winter and absolutely loved it. The service was incredible. Staff were kind, accommodating, and made a long stay feel easy and welcoming. I stayed in Cabin 15. It was beautiful, cozy, and wonderfully eerie in the winter silence. And yes… pretty sure there’s a ghost. My laundry was mysteriously thrown around the room. Not joking. Beautiful campsite! Close to great hiking trails, hot springs and restaurants. Plus lots for the kids to do and explore!
You didn't use the rooms with the RV park was awesome!
I camped there in the treed section for one night. Two stars. No divider etc. But over the summer the beach campsite / tent sites are right above the Kootenay Lake. Good view etc. Four stars. The pub was closed. Good fishing store and marina. Four stars. No need for coins to shower. Fishing the lake is good if on a boat. Some shore fishing should be decently good as well.
