Fabulous pizza. Very tasty.
Camp Meade outdoor event. Pizza was over priced and not special. 45 min wait for 12” pizza that cost $25. Creemees are disappointing.
Pizza is expensive with very little toppings, basically no cheese and one slice with 2 pieces of pepperoni. Calzone was filled with tasteless sausage and while I asked for a “ sausage and black olive” it came with a bunch of green olives which I don’t like - and a container of tomato sauce (cold and not marinara, just plain tomatoe sauce). I always enjoy experiencing the entertainment at camp Meade but “dining” with wood belly pizza won’t happen again. This place used to be pretty good before they became a restaurant (when they made pizza at the local farmers market). As a restaurant they never got their footing. It’s probably one of the worst managed restaurants in town, and as a result they’re now closed. Yet they still have hours listed on Google indicating they’re open. Go figure. They also burn a TON of wood and fill the air with soot and smoke as none of their ovens have filters. (Not environmentally conscious.)
