I went to Dr Woodward to try and get my fear of flying under control ahead of some summer obligations that required me to travel by air for the first time in 6 or 7 years. I went in having no idea what to expect and, frankly, super skeptical of the idea of hypnotherapy, but I was willing to try it out. (FWIW It turns out my preconceptions about what hypnotherapy entails was WAYYYY off base.) Dr. Woodard, in my opinion, is far before his time in the field. He is perhaps, the best psychologist and researcher in the field of psychology in New England currently. Mental health is as important as physical health. And all should be aware of and attending to both. I wish I met Dr. Woodard as a child. Because I still see the primary care physician I did as a child. And continuity to me, is very important. Dr. Woodard works BEYOND what you would expect. And he CARES.
