This galley is a hidden gem! I've purchased several pieces (lamp base, bowls, platters, various knives and utensils, bangles, jewellery boxes, glorious silky oak mirror etc). All are beautifully crafted, exquisite, treasured pieces. Absolutely well worth a visit or if unable to visit an online purchase is trustworthy and safe. The owners generously share the timber history, artisan approach and tips for maintaining lustre and care. This is the most superb wood gallery I've seen for decades!
I recently visited David’s gorgeous gallery and couldn’t help purchasing multiple beautiful pieces, for gifts, and for myself. Each piece is crafted lovingly and is functional as well as aesthetically appealing. David was so generous with his time and knowledge and is contagiously passionate and exploratory about his art and medium. A wonderful Walcha ( and online) shop! Highly recommended.
Beautiful woodwork. Worth a stop and look. The owner David offered to email us care information about the product we bought, which we have received. Perfect place to buy that gift for the person that has "everything".
Wood we create is such a beautiful space. It is definately more than a shop, it is an experience in wood. The items on display are varied and are true works of art. David, the owner, is very knowledgeable about timber, is a true craftsman, and is more than happy to share his knowledge. I highly recommend a visit to this shop for anyone visiting the quaint little town of Walcha.
Wood We Create is a fantastic shop, full of the most wonderful items crafted from timber. David, the owner, is a craftsman, and incredibly knowledgeable in all things timber and woodworking. Wood We Create is a true gem in Walcha. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
