I honestly would give Wood River Health negative five stars but recently I spoke with a woman named Jesse w. And she was very very helpful, she seemed extremely compassionate nurturing and caring. I wish that all Health Care employees regardless of their position at Health Service facilities held this type compassion and where simply authentic when speaking to patients to the point that any patient listening could clearly feel that the person speaking to them honestly cared instead of everything being rushed and more about w... read more
Been coming here for years and the receptionists are always very nice however it is extremely difficult to get into contact with your primary doctor. They don't seem very concerned with getting things done very fast. My doctor had told me they would put through a prescription and it's been almost three weeks with nothing at all, and it's been extremely difficult to get into contact.
Place is usually very good but the woman working the check in on 2/22/25 was horrific to speak with. She started off by telling me to put a mask on and if i get her sick she will “hunt me down” Idk if anyone wants to tell her that if she works in a place that they take sick visits and she doesn’t want to get sick maybe mask up herself or treat sick people like they’re sick? This is the most frustrating place to get ahold of your doctor. If you need refills on medication better submit two weeks in advance. You can't get directly on touch with your primary . No ext to put in. Their portal is terrible. It's 2025, step it up. Yale New Haven and South County Health portal are fantastic. Nope guess they are stuck in 1952
