Food was amazing which is on par with their OG Hartford location. Great beer list with lots of GOOD local/ N.E. brews. Only tiny detractor was the booth we had was not a closed style booth so one bench was shared with the diners next to us....but our awesome server was all about their young son and his love of WWE wrestling. So HUGE points to being able to get along with the kids and balance two tables at the same time. Will definitely be back.
Good food and service
The service was magnificent. Top tier. After coming here because we were fully ignored at a different location, we decided to try this location out. Believe me, this will be our new spot when we visit Wood N Tap. We had never had issues with service before at the other location, but this day, it was the worst ever. Thankfully, the staff in Newington made us feel great and welcomed and had the best experience. Thank you, Wood n Tap of Newington.
Our first time here and a great choice. Stopped for happy hour and the drinks (sangria @ margaritas) plus happy hour menu just delicious. Bar area was nearly full but we got one of the last tables and service was really good, no long waiting time for orders or delivery of food ordered. Definitely would return or go to one of their other restaurants. By the way, first time I saw TVs in the rest rooms.
