Went in for an oil change and requested a quote on how much it would cost to fix an error code my car previously had that was cleared. I knew what the code was, told Hayden when I made the appointment. The code was not lite on the dash at the time of the oil change and nothing needed to be cleared. I was quoted over $600 in “parts and labor” to change a $39 purge valve (I paid at the local part store) and a five minute fix and charge $140 to be told something I told the service department about.
