Shame it's closing.
Wouldn't accept payment with a Wood Kettle gift card b/c they're closing at the end of the month (?!?)... What a waste. Must be underwater and just don't care at this point.
Awesome local brewery. It’s a shame that land owner greed shortened its life.
A great beer selection on tap, and food selection from their onsite kitchen. The brown bear (brown ale) won the Governors cup, and was fantastic. I had inquired of the Baltic porter and English ale when we arrived. As I neared the end of my brown bear, the bartender brought tasters of the other beers I mentioned. They were all so good, we came home with crowlers of each. I had the chili, with melted cheese across the top. It had big chunks of meat, and had a little bite to it, enough to know there was some heat but not much.... read more
