We booked a three-bedroom apartment for five nights and were initially allocated Apartment Number 1. At the time of our arrival, Mission Beach was experiencing a significant weather event, and it was raining heavily. Huge letdown! Stayed here 5 nights & the owner's "child-proof & safe" claim was a joke. Doors had internal latches with external locks - major toddler hazard! Fire alarm screamed for 10mins with RADIO SILENCE from owner. Priced high, delivered low. Lights weren't working, beds were heaps uncomfortable & "double bed" = 2 singles smashed together with a crater in the middle. Oh, and water leaked in, soaked everything. Skip this dump, especially with kids. Not safe, not worth it. Will not be back!

Amazing position on the beach, perfect spot to relax by the pool. Our room (apt 2) was overall comfortable and upon first arriving felt fully equipped - especially in the kitchen. However after paying $580 for two nights we were disappointed with a few things - no outdoor furniture upstairs albeit photos showed there was - this was something we were most excited about, to sit out there and have morning coffee and watch the sunrise. Stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment was beachfront and was well equipped for our stay. Felt so relaxed the moment we walked in the door. We will be back
