We arrived before sunset set & it was incredible!! Such a lovely walk down Crystal Falls and back up - we were the only ones in the park! Would highlight recommend getting up early for this peaceful walk!
It's a beautiful place, but don't go if there is a chance of rain! We started our 6km walk in fine weather but it turned quickly mid-walk. Walking through the rain was lovely and the mist added to the experience, but then it got heavier and the paths started flooding. I still didn't mind the experience up to this point. Then while standing at the second waterfall, my daughter asked what the thing on her poncho was... it was a leech. From that moment on, we were pulling leeches off ourselves the whole way back.
