I had my first visit with Dr. Wong today. She was knowledgeable, kind and did not dismiss me like previous doctors. I highly recommend. Be prepared to wait and don't be put off by the scheduling staff (I found the lady to be a tad rude at first). Staff in the office however, are great.

So far, so good. Knock on wood. *** 5 months and counting without a UTI. And when you've had chronic UTIs, that's MAJOR victory. Dr. Wong prescribed an OTC/ online Theracran One with Proanthocyanidins (PACs which is what others don't have) and prescription topical Estradiol. In addition, I had started 64 oz of water a day. But most of all she assured me that my UTIs were not because of any bad hygiene habits. Whew! It's a function of the bladder lining when you've had a total hysterectomy or are post menopausal.
