Proceed with extreme caution. Functional medicine is a process that takes time to acclimate to. It can be overwhelming and is also a financial commitment. That was not made clear to me upfront. In my experience as a new patient for 18 months, Dr. Wood and her staff proved to be very rigid, impatient, and unforgiving.
