Not worth the price. This hotel is clearly cashing in on its location while neglecting basic maintenance and guest experience. We found spiders and spider webs in the bathroom, the room, and on the balcony - something you simply don’t expect from a hotel at this price point. The staff were polite and the service was just adequate, it felt like customer experience was an afterthought. A great location doesn’t make up for poor upkeep and lack of attention to detail. We booked a one night stay for the 4th of July and couldn't have been more pleased! We were able to go up on the hill by the restaurant on the property and watch the fireworks from there. Perfect view! Friendly staff and the restaurant was wonderful too for breakfast. Overall a great visit.
We had a lovely time visiting Bar Harbor and Wonder View Inn. We had a spectacular view and private balcony and enjoyed every minute. Great location and easy to access town and Acadia National Park. We hope to return again soon and plan to stay here. Loved the gift shop too.
