Dr. Won has been our doctor since 1993. He has a good bedside manner, and he explain's medical issues in a manner that is understandable. He knows his patients; he doesn't give out medication if it's not needed; and he'll refer you to a specialist if necessary. Dr. Won looks at the patient as a whole, not just the numbers that appear on a chart. This is why we have stayed with him so long.
Great Doctor, always recommended correct prescriptions for me conditions. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately my mom had been assigned to Dr. Won while at Sherbrooke Village Rehab Center after having a stroke. He was very difficult to work with. My mom had a UTI and he was avoiding treatment of it. Told me to have a Gyn dr. check her for female problems! He also discharged her before she was ready! The therapist were shocked! They said she was not ready, she was continuing to progress. Instead we had to take her home and pay for 24hr care & outpatient PT. Guess he works for the ins co!
Dr Won is a wonderful , caring , friendly person. He treats everyone with kindness. He is a great Dr.
I am the daughter of one of his patients, I am on my way to visit my Dad, his patient in the hospital for the 33rd day. He was not feeling well so he saw Dr. Won. Dad requested the Dr. Take some blood work. The Dr. Wouldn't!! Still not feeling well he saw his heart Dr. Who sent him to the Hospital immediately! While there they said this could have been caught sooner if given a blood test. Now he has some permanent damage and he will be seeing a new Dr. from now on.
He refused to listen to me fully and do a work up, blood etc. And sed thertwas nothing wrong. Two weeks later I was admit to the Hospit by a cardiologist. I was told it could have been caught sooner with bloot tests. I will be seeing a duo Dr. Now.
Dr. Won is very friendly and attentive. He does not guilt trip, but is serious about healthy living. Unfortunately, his office is incredibly difficult to reach. The office is open limited hours and when it is supposed to be open the phone does not receive calls. The message tells the caller to call back during office hours even when you are calling during office hours.
Sr. Won always listens to your concerns. He's not a pill pusher like a lot of doctors these days. He cares about his patients. I've been going to him for years and my family have all changed from their doctor to him.
